5 Minute, Slightly Brain-Dead, Tomato Sauce

If you just want something fast that you can toss on something edible, but would rather not have it out of a jar try this:

1/2 can of 14,.5 oz diced tomatoes - just the tomatoes - with just a small amount of the water
scant 1/4 c of dried onions
some shakes (around 4) of garlic powder
some dried basil
some dried oregano (4:1 basil to oregano retio)
a little dried thyme (optional)
sals and pepper

Throw it all into a skilled and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until onions and herbs have absorrbed the water.

Server over toasted sourdough or french bread to make a pizza bread - grate parmesan over it.
